IndiGo Makes Bengaluru-Mauritius Travel Easier

IndiGo has launched direct flights from Bengaluru to Mauritius, expanding its international network to 35 destinations and adding a second route in Africa. The airline will run this route four times a week to meet rising tourism demand and strengthen ties between India and Mauritius. The inaugural flight had a duration of approximately five and a half hours.

After flights from Mumbai to Nairobi were introduced in August, Mauritius became IndiGo's second African destination with the addition of Port Louis to its network. In addition to fostering trade, investment, and business alliances throughout the Indian Ocean region, the airline claims that this new route will help satisfy the growing demand for tourism.

IndiGo flight 6E1861 is set to take off from Bengaluru at 3:20 AM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays and arrive at its destination at 7:45 AM local time. According to local schedules, the return journey departs at 9:30 AM and reaches Bengaluru at 4:45 PM.
