Waldorf Astoria London’s Culinary Duo

Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch, London’s luxury opening has announced Clare Smyth and Daniel Boulud as its official chef partners. The two renowned chefs, who together hold seven Michelin stars, will each oversee one of the hotel’s signature restaurants when it opens its doors in 2026.

The culinary collaboration marks a significant step for Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch as the historic building is restored back to its former glory ahead of its unveiling as a luxury hotel next year.

Commenting on the announcement, Guillaume Marly, General Manager, Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch said, “With Clare Smyth and Daniel Boulud both confirmed to bring new culinary concepts to the property, Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch is set to be a truly exceptional dining destination in the heart of the British capital. We look forward to unveiling more details about these exciting chef partnerships in the coming months.”

Under its Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts brand, Hilton – in partnership with Reuben Brothers – is transforming the storied landmark into a 100 key luxury hotel. The hotel will exemplify the Waldorf Astoria brand, meeting the needs of global travellers and Londoners while honouring its past. Originally commissioned by King Edward VII in memory of Queen Victoria, Admiralty Arch stands at the opposite end of The Mall to Buckingham Palace, offering views of Buckingham Palace in one direction and across Nelson’s Column and Trafalgar Square to the other.

Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts is entering a significant new era in its history. Flagship property Waldorf Astoria New York is due to re-open in spring this year and the brand is set to launch in key global destinations including Osaka and Costa Rica.
