Hilton Reaches 200 Hotels in Canada, Expands Multi-Brand Portfolio
Hilton has opened more than 200 hotels across Canada, supported by the recent additions of Hôtel Vallea Bromont, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, Home2 Suites by Hilton Woodstock ON, and Spark by Hilton Toronto Mississauga. This growth reflects the company’s multi-brand strategy, with a focus on expanding its focused service, extended stay, and lifestyle portfolios in both major cities and developing markets.

Growth by Category
Focused service brands such as Hampton by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Tru by Hilton, and Spark by Hilton have contributed nearly half of Hilton’s new Canadian hotels in the past decade.
Extended stay brands Homewood Suites by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton have doubled in size in the country during the same period.
Lifestyle brands are expanding with openings under the Curio Collection and Tapestry Collection, along with Canopy by Hilton in Toronto.
Future Pipeline
Hilton has more than 100 properties in development across Canada, including:
Motto by Hilton in Montreal (2028)
Tempo by Hilton in Toronto (2029)
More than 20 additional hotels are expected to open within the next year across DoubleTree, Hampton, Homewood Suites, Home2 Suites, Tru, and Spark by Hilton.
