Brij Hotels signs new coastal resort in Sindhudurg, Goa

Brij Hotels has announced the signing of a new coastal resort in Sindhudurg, marking its expansion into the Konkan region. The development reflects the brand’s strategy to enter destinations known for their natural landscapes, cultural depth, and low-density tourism.

Located just north of Goa, the upcoming Brij Sindhudurg resort will be accessible from Manohar International Airport (MOPA) and is approximately 15 minutes from Sindhudurg Airport, offering convenient connectivity while maintaining a sense of seclusion.

Situated along a white-sand beach, Brij Sindhudurg will feature private beachfront villas designed to offer privacy and a relaxed coastal pace. Guests will have direct beach access from their villas and can participate in experiences shaped by the region’s marine and coastal environment. These include early-morning dolphin sightings, guided snorkelling, and water-based explorations that highlight local marine life.

Evenings at the resort are planned around beachside dining experiences focused on coastal cuisine inspired by local ingredients and Konkan flavours. Cultural elements will be integrated through interactions with nearby communities, regional storytelling, and traditions rooted in the Sindhudurg and Konkan heritage.

Commenting on the signing, Udit Kumar, Co-Founder of Brij Hotels, said that Sindhudurg aligns with the brand’s focus on privacy, discovery, and a slower approach to luxury travel. He added that the intent is to respect the coastline’s character while creating an immersive retreat connected to its surroundings.

The Sindhudurg project underscores Brij Hotels’ ongoing focus on relatively unexplored destinations, offering guests access to distinctive landscapes alongside thoughtfully designed hospitality experiences.
