APPOINTMENT
Francesco Giovannelli has been appointed as Monastero Manager at Borgo Monchiero Heritage by Atmosphere.
Located in the UNESCO-listed Langhe hills of Piedmont, Borgo Monchiero Heritage by Atmosphere is the first heritage property in Italy under the Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts brand. Giovannelli’s appointment supports the company’s focus on combining heritage-led experiences with structured operational leadership.
Giovannelli brings over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong operational background across Italy, including Piedmont and Tuscany. Over the course of his career, he has worked closely with on-property teams and has led multiple functions spanning hotel operations, revenue coordination, and service delivery. His professional experience reflects a practical understanding of regional cultures, guest expectations, and traditional service standards within the Italian hospitality landscape.
In his new role as Monastero Manager, Giovannelli will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day hotel operations, working closely with operational teams, and ensuring that the property’s heritage character is aligned with consistent service delivery and guest experience standards.
