Air India Expands Summer Flights to the UK and Europe

Air India presents its new Business Class and Premium Economy seating from the refurbished A320 family of aircraft alongside a virtual reality experience of the advanced A350 aircraft. This will be showcased at South Asia's Travel & Tourism Exchange (SATTE) 2025, held from February 19 to 21, 2025, at Yashobhoomi, the India International Convention and Expo Centre in New Delhi.

Air India’s travel and tourism fair exhibit is inspired by its unique gold window frame, ‘The Vista.’ This standout design element seamlessly combines aesthetic charm with captivating digital experiences.

Air India invites visitors to experience its transformation journey at the pavilion via live demonstrations showcasing Business Class and Premium Economy seats on the newly retrofitted A320 family aircraft.

Air India now offers Premium Economy cabins on over eighty aircraft operating on domestic and international routes. The airline is refurbishing 27 older A320 aircraft, a project expected to be completed by mid-2025. This refurbishment will introduce new cabins, seats, upholstery, and carpets. Premium Economy cabins will be installed on these aircraft, significantly increasing the number of planes featuring a three-class configuration.

Air India is presenting a Virtual Reality experience zone that allows industry professionals and visitors to get closer to its advanced A350 fleet. This setup takes visitors into the premium cabins of the airline’s newest A350 aircraft, which is strategically utilized on important international routes such as Delhi-London Heathrow, New York (JFK), and Newark.

Air India’s flagship A350 has 316 seats in a three-class cabin layout. It boasts more expansive cabins, larger windows, mood lighting, onboard Wi-Fi, and advanced inflight entertainment systems, establishing a new standard for passenger experience among Indian airlines.

Additionally, Air India will showcase a range of in-flight meals to highlight its updated menus and improved dining experience.

Visitors at the pavilion can enroll in the newly revamped Maharaja Club, the airline’s loyalty program that provides exclusive rewards and privileges. The booth will feature a raffle for visitors, offering curated gift hampers and a complimentary economy class ticket as prizes. This pavilion showcases the airline’s dedication to innovation and enhancing passenger comfort.
