Avani Introduces G(IRL)s Getaways to Reflect Growth in Women’s Group Travel

Ahead of International Women’s Day on 8 March 2026, Avani Hotels & Resorts is highlighting the growing trend of women travelling together. From milestone birthdays and reunions to sister trips and friendship breaks, group travel among women is influencing how holidays are planned and experienced.

In response, Avani has launched G(IRL)s Getaways, a curated collection of stays designed around shared spaces, flexible layouts, and experiences that can be enjoyed together. The concept spans properties across Asia, the Indian Ocean, and the Middle East, with a focus on multi-room villas, suites, and residences suited to group travel.

Room to Connect

At Avani+ Khao Lak Resort, the Two Bedroom Royal Beachfront Pool Villa spans 765 square metres and includes a private pool, jacuzzi, and shared living areas. Guests can take part in Thai cooking classes, beach activities, spa treatments, and relaxed evenings at Coco-Fire Beach Club.

In the Maldives, Avani+ Fares Maldives features the Three-Bedroom Sunset Over Water Pool Residence, set above a lagoon, with shared living areas and private bedrooms. Experiences include spa sessions, snorkelling excursions, and private beach dinners.

Wellness and Cultural Experiences

At Avani+ Hua Hin Resort, the AvaniWell programme focuses on personalised wellbeing. Group experiences range from Traditional Thai Medicine consultations and physiotherapy to Pilates sessions, hammam rituals, and nutrition-focused dining. Accommodation options include multi-bedroom sea-view villas suited to group stays.

For milestone celebrations, guests can combine a stay at Avani+ Luang Prabang with a private Mekong River journey aboard Bohème, a 13-suite river cruiser. The experience includes cultural excursions, wellness activities, and shared dining experiences along the river.

City Breaks for Groups

In Dubai, Avani+ Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites offers a three-bedroom sea-view apartment designed for group stays. With shared living and dining areas, guests can explore Palm West Beach, Dubai Marina, and nearby dining venues before returning to a private residential-style setting.

Designed for Shared Travel

Across the G(IRL)s Getaways collection, Avani focuses on space, ease of planning, and experiences suited to group dynamics. Whether centred on wellness, cultural exploration, or time spent together, the concept reflects how women are choosing to travel today — prioritising shared moments while maintaining comfort and flexibility.
