Avani Victoria Falls Resort Reopens with Refreshed Design and Experiences
Victoria Falls Stay at Avani Resort Offers Updated Rooms and Nature-Led Experiences
Avani Hotels & Resorts has introduced a refreshed stay at its property near Victoria Falls, offering guests direct access to the region’s natural surroundings. Located within Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, the resort combines updated accommodation, dining and outdoor activities in a setting shaped by its environment.
Spread across 46 hectares of protected land, the resort maintains a close connection to nature, with wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, impalas and monkeys often moving through the grounds.
The refurbishment includes 50 Superior Rooms and four Suites, redesigned with a focus on natural materials and a contemporary layout. Interiors draw inspiration from the Zambezi riverfront, with neutral tones and functional spaces that extend to terraces and balconies overlooking gardens, pools and the lagoon.
Guests can access a range of activities centred around the Falls and the surrounding landscape. These include guided visits to Devil’s Pool, white-water rafting, gorge swings and scenic flights over the Zambezi River.

Dining options continue to reflect the destination. Mukuni Boma offers open-air meals influenced by regional cuisine and cultural traditions, while private dining experiences along the river provide a more personalised setting. The resort also caters to families through AvaniKids programmes, which focus on outdoor exploration and wildlife-based activities.
The property is accessible via direct flights from Johannesburg to Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport, followed by a short transfer, or via Victoria Falls Airport across the border.
Room rates start from USD 1,100 per night for two adults sharing a Superior Pool View Room, including breakfast, taxes and fees.
