AUKO Eco-Wellness Lodges Brings Nature-Led Hospitality to Phong Nha

AUKO Eco-Wellness Lodges is set to open in Q3 2026 in Phong Nha–Ke Bang National Park, introducing a nature-focused hospitality concept centred on wellness, sustainability and local culture.

Located along the Son River and surrounded by limestone mountains, the property sits within the UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its cave systems, including Son Doong Cave. The development has been designed with a focus on environmental resilience and low-impact construction.

The retreat will feature 30 eco-tented lodges positioned across the landscape, connected by elevated bamboo walkways and built with reclaimed timber and ventilated platforms. Indigenous planting has also been incorporated throughout the property to support biodiversity and adapt to local weather conditions.

According to the company, the guest experience will revolve around three wellness pathways — The Open Way, The Still Way and The Wild Way, allowing travellers to choose between relaxation, guided wellness journeys or active outdoor experiences.

Dining at the property will be centred on Origin Restaurant, offering seasonal meals inspired by Central Vietnamese cuisine, featuring local produce, river fish, and wild-foraged herbs.

The wellness programme has been developed in collaboration with Lumina Wellbeing and draws inspiration from Cham traditions and nature-based therapies. Planned experiences include hydrotherapy rituals, clay treatments, forest showers, sound-healing sessions, yoga, meditation, and cave-based wellness activities.

The retreat will also offer jungle trekking, river boating and seasonal cultural experiences linked to the local environment and community.
