The Anam Cam Ranh Introduces Coconut Harvesting Experience
Coconut Experience at The Anam Cam Ranh Highlights Local Wellness Traditions
The Anam Cam Ranh has introduced a weekly coconut-harvesting experience that allows guests to learn about Vietnam’s coconut culture, local wellness traditions, and farm-to-table practices.
Held every Thursday from 10 am to 11 am at the resort’s wellness and recreation precinct, the activity begins with gardeners climbing coconut trees to harvest mature coconuts in front of guests. Visitors are then shown how coconuts are trimmed and opened, while learning about the different stages of coconut growth and ripeness.
The experience also explores the nutritional benefits of coconuts, including the natural electrolytes found in coconut water and the healthy fats and fibre present in coconut meat, which is widely used in Vietnamese cuisine.

Laurent Myter, Group General Manager of The Anam Group, said the experience has received positive feedback from guests seeking a more local and nature-focused activity during their stay.
The coconut harvesting session forms part of the resort’s wider wellness and recreation facilities, which include an organic farm, running track, mini-golf course, driving range, tennis court and football field.
Produce harvested from the organic farm is also incorporated into the resort’s dining offerings. Fresh eggs collected on-site are served during breakfast, while herbs, fruits and vegetables grown at the farm are used in Vietnamese and international dishes across the resort’s restaurants and bars.
Ingredients such as red amaranth, Vietnamese pennywort, morning glory, passionfruit, mint, and calamansi are featured in salads, sauces, cocktails, and other menu items served at Lang Viet Restaurant, The Beach Club, The Indochine, The Colonial, and Saigon Bar.
Located on Vietnam’s Cam Ranh peninsula, The Anam Cam Ranh continues to expand its guest experiences with activities centred around local culture, food and wellness.
