American Airlines Promotes Kim Wicker to Vice President, Global Compensation, Mobility and People Support

American Airlines has promoted Kim Wicker to Vice President, Global Compensation, Mobility and People Support.

In her new role, Wicker will lead the design and execution of the company’s compensation programs, global mobility and relocation services, and the People Business Partner team supporting corporate functions.
Wicker has been with American Airlines for over 14 years, progressing through a range of roles across human resources and organisational leadership. Most recently, she served as Managing Director, Compensation, Mobility and People Support. Prior to that, she held the role of Managing Director, Global Compensation and Mobility, where she was involved in compensation strategy and mobility programs.

She began her career with American Eagle as a station agent in Key West, and has since developed experience across HR transformation, compensation strategy, and workforce planning.
Earlier in her career, Wicker worked as a Specialist in Brand Marketing at TEAM Enterprises and as a Staffing Consultant at Cardinal Staffing Services in Tallahassee, Florida.
Her promotion reflects American Airlines’ focus on strengthening leadership across its people and organisational functions.
