American Airlines and Mastercard Extend Partnership to Enhance Travel Rewards and Payment Innovation

American Airlines and Mastercard have announced the renewal of their long-standing partnership, reinforcing their shared commitment to offering more rewarding and seamless travel experiences through enhanced payment technology and services.

Under the renewed agreement, Mastercard will remain the exclusive payment network partner for American’s co-branded credit cards, continuing a nearly 40-year relationship between the two companies. Together, they will focus on enhancing the AAdvantage program and delivering personalised, streamlined experiences to cardholders throughout their travel journey.

AAdvantage® members will also gain new opportunities to redeem miles for Mastercard’s curated Priceless Experiences.
