Alaska Airlines Unveils New Toy Story 5 Aircraft Livery

Toy Story Aircraft Marks Horizon Air’s 45th Anniversary
Horizon Air, the regional airline of Alaska Airlines, has introduced a new aircraft livery inspired by Disney and Pixar’s upcoming film Toy Story 5.
The specially designed Embraer 175 aircraft (N659QX) celebrates Horizon Air’s approaching 45th anniversary while bringing characters from the long-running animated franchise to travellers across the airline’s regional network.
Characters from Toy Story Take Flight

The aircraft features familiar characters including Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie, alongside new characters set to appear in Toy Story 5, such as Lilypad, Snappy, Atlas and Smarty Pants.
The design also includes Toy Story-inspired graphics, floating cloud motifs and themed messages across the fuselage. Additional character details appear on the aircraft’s winglets, extending the film’s visual theme throughout the aircraft.

The livery was unveiled to guests and employees at Portland International Airport ahead of the film’s cinema release on 19 June.
Celebrating 45 Years of Service

Named “To 45 and Beyond”, the aircraft references Buzz Lightyear’s well-known phrase while recognising Horizon Air’s upcoming 45th year of operations.
According to Horizon Air President and CEO Andy Schneider, the aircraft was created to celebrate the airline’s history and recognise the employees who continue to support its operations across the regional network.
Part of Alaska Airlines’ Disney Collaboration

The new aircraft joins Alaska Airlines’ collection of Disney-themed liveries, which includes designs inspired by Disneyland Resort attractions and popular film franchises.
Previous aircraft have featured themes linked to Toy Story, Star Wars, Mickey Mouse and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, reflecting the airline’s long-standing collaboration with Disney.
Connecting Entertainment and Travel

The Toy Story-themed aircraft highlights how airlines continue to use creative branding and entertainment partnerships to enhance the passenger experience. By combining aviation with well-known film characters, the design aims to create a memorable journey for travellers of all ages while marking an important milestone in Horizon Air’s history.
The aircraft is now operating across Horizon Air’s regional network, bringing the world of Toy Story 5 to destinations throughout North America.
