Shane Tackett Elevated to President & Chief Financial Officer at Alaska Airlines

Alaska Airlines has announced the election of Shane Tackett as President and Chief Financial Officer.

In this expanded role, Tackett will continue to oversee the airline’s finance, fleet management, investor relations, supply chain, internal audit and information technology functions. He will also take on oversight of the commercial organisation.

Tackett has been associated with the airlines for more than 25 years. During this time, he has held leadership roles across financial planning, labour relations, revenue management, e-commerce and corporate strategy.

The appointment reflects an expansion of Tackett’s existing responsibilities within the organisation as the airline continues its long-term growth plans.
