AirAsia Media Launches Campaign for Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship 2025

Typhoon Ragasa is anticipated to disrupt flight operations at multiple airports in the Greater Bay Area. Flights operated by AirAsia Malaysia (AK), Thai AirAsia (FD), and Philippines AirAsia (Z2) travelling to and from Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Macao may be affected on September 23–24, 2025.

AirAsia has informed affected passengers about their flight status and available service recovery options through email and SMS. Passengers travelling on these dates are encouraged to stay updated via the AirAsia MOVE app (airasia.com/flightstatus), the AskBo chatbot, and their registered email.

Service recovery options for affected passengers include:

  • Move Flight: One-time free date change within 30 days on the same route within the AirAsia network, subject to seat availability.

  • Credit Account: Valid for 730 days from the date of issuance to your AirAsia member account.

  • Full Refund: Issued to the original form of payment.
