Air India’s New Destinations in 2025

Air India will launch flights to five new international destinations in 2025, expanding its global network based on aircraft availability. The airline plans to add Manila, Jakarta, Dallas, and Los Angeles to its existing list of 45 international destinations. A fifth destination is still under development and will be announced as soon as it is confirmed.

Currently, supply chain constraints are affecting fleet expansion, but airline sources are optimistic that upcoming aircraft deliveries will enable new route launches in 2025. Service to the Southeast Asian destinations of Manila and Jakarta is scheduled to begin in early 2025, while flights to Dallas and Los Angeles will start later in the year.

According to Campbell Wilson, the managing director and CEO of Air India Group, recent manufacturing strikes at Boeing have impacted Air India’s expansion timeline, leading the carrier to adjust its 2025 growth strategy. Strong international passenger demand is driving Air India’s route expansion initiative. Since the Tata Group took management control in 2022, the airline has significantly increased its global operations, doubling its international capacity.
