Air India Adds Phuket Flights

Air India has recently announced exciting news for travellers to the popular beach destination of Phuket, Thailand. Starting from June 1, 2024, the airline will be adding a second daily service to meet the increasing demand for travel to this beautiful destination, except on Wednesdays. This new service will complement Air India’s existing daily flights between Delhi and Phuket.

Air India operates a fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft serving 102 domestic and international destinations.

Ever since Air India launched its Phuket service in December 2023, there has been a surge in demand, prompting the airline to increase its frequency to a daily service in January 2024. The airline has witnessed a massive increase in demand for the Phuket route, and thus it has decided to add another daily flight.

The airline was founded by JRD. Tata as Tata Airlines in 1932.

The new flights to Phuket will depart from Delhi at 11.00 AM Local Time and will arrive in Phuket at 5.15 PM Local Time. This additional service will enable travellers to visit the beautiful destination more frequently, and Air India will operate a total of 34 weekly flights to Thailand from Delhi and Mumbai.
