Air India Express Expands Delhi Network with Flights to Seven Domestic Cities
Air India Express is expanding its presence in Delhi by introducing new direct flights to several destinations, including Goa, Imphal, Lucknow, Port Blair, Amritsar, Jodhpur, and Udaipur. These flights will begin operations on October 26. Bookings are now available through the airline’s website, its mobile app, and major travel platforms.
The new flight routes will be launched in phases:
- Flights to Goa, Imphal, Lucknow, and Port Blair will start on October 26.
- Services to Amritsar will commence on October 28.
- Flights to Jodhpur and Udaipur will begin on November 1.
This expansion aims to enhance access between Delhi and important cultural, tourism, and economic centers across India.
This initiative is part of Air India Express’ ongoing strategy to strengthen connectivity from major metro hubs, linking domestic and regional destinations across South Asia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. The airline operates a fleet of 115 aircraft with over 500 daily services to 43 domestic and 17 international destinations.
Air India Express promotes India’s cultural heritage through its “Tales of India” initiative, which showcases traditional art forms like Madhubani, Bandhani, and Kalamkari on the aircraft liveries. Passengers can book bundled holiday experiences through Xpress Holidays, which include flights, accommodations, local transportation, and sightseeing activities. Onboard, travelers can enjoy freshly prepared Gourmair meals and a digital-first booking experience.

Air India Express operates over 400 weekly flights from Indira Gandhi International Airport in the Delhi NCR region, serving 24 domestic and two international destinations. Additionally, there are more than 60 flights from Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad. Starting October 26, all domestic flights will operate from Terminal 1, while international services will continue to depart from Terminal 3.
