Accor Expands U.S. Footprint with Treasure Island – TI Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, Handwritten Collection

Accor, in partnership with businessman and casino owner Phil Ruffin, has announced the signing of Treasure Island – TI Las Vegas Hotel & Casino to the Handwritten Collection. The 2,884-key property, set to operate under a franchise agreement, will officially join Accor’s global portfolio later this year—becoming the brand’s second Handwritten Collection address in the United States following Hotel Stratford San Francisco.
Overlooking Las Vegas’ premier racing circuit, the hotel offers broad views of the city and a location closely connected to the Strip’s vibrant activity. This signing expands Accor’s presence in the Americas, where it now operates more than 550 hotels, and reflects the Group’s growing focus on North America.

“The collaboration between Treasure Island and Handwritten Collection offers a guest experience rooted in character and connection,” said Camil Yazbeck, Global Chief Development Officer, Accor.
“We’re pleased to partner with Mr. Ruffin to evolve the story of this property under the Accor umbrella.”
Treasure Island attracts millions of visitors annually. Under the new agreement, the hotel will benefit from the full suite of Accor’s services—including sales and marketing support, global distribution, and loyalty integration via the ALL – Accor Live Limitless program, which has more than 100 million members worldwide.

“Treasure Island is part of Las Vegas’ identity, and this next chapter brings a fresh perspective while preserving its recognizable spirit,” said Phil Ruffin.
“We are pleased to align with Accor, whose values complement ours, and we’re optimistic about the future of this partnership.”
With more than 25 Handwritten Collection hotels operating and over 35 in the pipeline, the brand emphasizes individuality and personality in each stay. Treasure Island’s whimsical design, influenced by the classic Robert Louis Stevenson tale, contributes to the brand’s storytelling focus. Longstanding guest features—like complimentary valet and self-parking—will continue.
The hotel has recently undergone a multimillion-dollar refresh, blending contemporary design with comfort. A lively lobby, a tropical-style pool, and self-check-in kiosks create a seamless arrival experience, supported by a 24/7 guest relations team. The property features 10 dining venues and 8 lounges, including Phil’s Steak House and Gilley’s Saloon, and connects directly to the Fashion Show Las Vegas mall.
Amenities also include the Oleksandra Spa & Salon, entertainment venues, wedding chapels, flexible meeting spaces, and 90,000 square feet of gaming. The theatre continues to host Mystère by Cirque du Soleil—honoured multiple times as ‘Best Production Show’—underscoring the hotel’s link to Las Vegas’ entertainment legacy.
Guestrooms offer views of the Strip, the Sphere Las Vegas, and the Spring Mountains, featuring SensaTIonal beds, marble bathrooms, and upgraded amenities. The hotel has earned a Four Green Globes certification, recognizing its sustainability efforts in energy use, water efficiency, and indoor environmental quality.

“We’re excited to bring Accor to Las Vegas through this significant addition to our portfolio,” said Thomas Dubaere, CEO PM&E, Accor Americas.
“Treasure Island – TI Las Vegas now stands as the largest Accor hotel worldwide, marking a meaningful milestone for our growth in the U.S.”
