Tech Fest Highlights Smart Hospitality at IHCL Goa
IHCL Goa hosted Tech Fest 2026 at Taj Cidade de Goa, bringing together engineering professionals, hospitality leaders and technology partners to explore how technology is supporting more efficient and sustainable hotel operations.
The event focused on the growing role of intelligent infrastructure in hospitality, highlighting solutions that improve operational efficiency while reducing environmental impact.
Tech Fest 2026 showcased a range of technologies, including smart energy management systems, predictive maintenance tools and IoT-enabled monitoring platforms. These systems help hotels monitor electricity, water, and fuel consumption in real time while supporting proactive asset maintenance.
Among the technologies on display were energy-efficient chillers, indoor air quality management systems, robotic carpet and floor-cleaning equipment, digital metering solutions, and LPG safety systems. The event also featured renewable energy technologies and sustainability dashboards designed to help hotels monitor and manage resource consumption.
The exhibition included water bottling plants that reduce the use of single-use plastics, energy-generating fitness equipment, audiovisual solutions for events, and waste management technologies such as in-house sludge treatment and biogas generation.

Ranjit Phillipose, Senior Vice President – Operations, IHCL Goa, said the event highlighted how technology can support responsible hotel operations by improving energy efficiency, conserving water and reducing waste.
Tech Fest 2026 reflected IHCL Goa’s approach to integrating technology and sustainability across hotel operations while supporting operational efficiency, guest comfort and long-term environmental goals.
