IndiGo Appoints Kiran Thadimarri as Chief Financial Officer; Gaurav Negi Transitions to Advisory Role of Managing Director
IndiGo has appointed Kiran Thadimarri as Chief Financial Officer, effective July 28. He succeeds Gaurav Negi, who will transition into an advisory role to the Managing Director after more than four years as CFO.
Kiran Thadimarri- Chief Financial Officer

Kiran Thadimarri currently serves as Deputy CFO at IndiGo and brings experience across aviation, technology, and industrial sectors. Alongside this role, he is also associated with InterGlobe Enterprises as Group CFO.
Prior to IndiGo, Kiran held senior finance roles at Udaan, where he served as Senior Vice President Finance and Group Finance Controller, overseeing financial planning, controls, and business performance. Earlier, he was Co-founder and CFO of GENWORKS Health.
His earlier career includes leadership roles at General Electric, including CFO of GE Water India, as well as positions within Wipro GE Healthcare and Wipro Limited. He began his career with S. Krishnaswamy & Co.
In his new role, Thadimarri will lead IndiGo’s finance function, with responsibility for financial strategy, capital management, and governance as the airline continues its operational and network expansion.
Gaurav Negi- Advisory Role to Managing Director

Gaurav Negi has transitioned to the advisory role of Managing Director. He has been with IndiGo since 2021 and served as CFO from 2022. During his tenure, he led financial strategy and governance initiatives, supporting the airline’s operational and growth objectives.
Before joining IndiGo, Gaurav held senior finance leadership roles across multiple divisions of General Electric, including GE Renewable Energy and GE Capital. He also served as CFO for Wipro GE Healthcare, overseeing finance operations across India and South Asia.
