Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa Appoints Fiona Winger as General Manager

Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa has appointed Fiona Winger as General Manager.

Winger returns to Queenstown following a 15-year career in luxury hospitality across New Zealand, Fiji, the Maldives, and Australia. Her experience includes leadership roles with global hospitality groups such as Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, Six Senses, Marriott International, Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, and Westin Hotels & Resorts.

Most recently, she served as General Manager of Rosewood Cape Kidnappers, where she oversaw operations, financial performance, team development, and capital projects.

Located on Duke Street in central Queenstown, Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa combines French-inspired hospitality with the surrounding alpine environment of the Southern Lakes region.

Winger is an alumna of International College of Hotel Management.
