flydubai Doubles Bangkok Flights

Dubai-based carrier flydubai has announced the introduction of a second daily flight to Bangkok starting 18 July, in response to strong travel demand for its recently launched route. The move comes just weeks after the airline began daily operations to Don Mueang International Airport on 1 July, further strengthening its footprint in Thailand.

The additional service significantly enhances connectivity between Dubai and Bangkok, offering passengers greater flexibility and more travel options during the busy summer travel period. With this expansion, alongside an increase in flights to Krabi from four weekly services to daily operations, flydubai will operate up to 21 weekly flights to Thailand.
Sudhir Sreedharan, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at flydubai, said the airline is pleased to build on the strong demand for its Bangkok route. He highlighted that Don Mueang International Airport provides convenient access to central Bangkok, making it a preferred choice for travellers looking to maximise their time in the city. He added that the additional service reinforces flydubai’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and supporting Dubai’s position as a leading global aviation hub.
Beyond Thailand, flydubai continues to expand its international network. The airline has recently launched flights to Benghazi and is set to begin services to Aleppo from 20 July and Pokhara from 23 September, further broadening its reach across key markets.
The Bangkok service is also part of flydubai’s codeshare partnership with Emirates, allowing passengers to benefit from seamless travel experiences including single-ticket itineraries, through check-in of baggage, and access to a combined network of more than 240 destinations worldwide.
