“Beyond offering affordable and accessible fares, reliability remains a key focus for AirAsia. Despite the operational challenges faced by the aviation industry during the first half of the year, we have continued to improve our performance while delivering safe, efficient and customer-focused service. Our next priority is to further stabilise operations and continue rebuilding travel confidence.”

What Drove the Improvement?

AirAsia Philippines attributed its improved performance to several operational measures, including:

  • Aircraft availability and proactive maintenance
  • Efficient flight dispatch and turnaround procedures
  • Effective crew scheduling
  • Close coordination with airports and air traffic control
  • Continuous weather monitoring
  • Real-time operational decision-making

These measures have helped the airline maintain reliable flight operations while prioritising passenger safety.
