MGallery Opens Oceanfront Retreat
Bel Hotel Oléron Joins MGallery Collection in France
MGallery Collection has opened Bel Hotel Oléron Thalasso & Spa – MGallery Collection, a new oceanfront hotel on Île d’Oléron on France’s Atlantic coast.
Located on Plage de Gatseau, the hotel is surrounded by forests and beaches, offering guests a stay inspired by the island’s coastal landscape and relaxed atmosphere.
A New Boutique Stay on Île d’Oléron
The hotel features 102 guestrooms, including eight suites, each with a private balcony or terrace overlooking the surrounding landscape.
The design reflects the island’s coastal character, with natural materials, soft colours and interiors inspired by the sea and nearby forests. Two themed suites have also been created to reflect the island’s marine and woodland environments.
Local Dining Experiences
Dining at the hotel highlights regional ingredients sourced from local fishermen, oyster producers and farmers.
Guests can choose from the main restaurant, a chef’s table experience, beachside dining and bars serving locally inspired cocktails. The signature Dune cocktail features regional ingredients, including Pineau des Charentes, Cognac, fleur de sel caramel and fresh orange juice.
Spa and Wellness Facilities
The hotel’s Thalasso & Spa includes 27 treatment rooms, an indoor swimming pool, hammam, sauna, jacuzzi, and wellness areas, developed in partnership with the French skincare brand Phytomer.
Guests can also take part in outdoor wellness activities such as yoga by the sea, paddleboarding and guided nature experiences around the island.
Experiences Inspired by the Destination
As part of the MGallery Collection experience, the hotel offers its signature M Moment, where guests can enjoy a sunset picnic overlooking Gatseau Bay, featuring local food and wine in a coastal setting.
Accommodation at Bel Hotel Oléron Thalasso & Spa – MGallery Collection is now available, with room categories ranging from standard guestrooms to suites.
