Dusit Signs Two New ASAI Hotels in Southern Thailand

Dusit International has announced the expansion of its ASAI Hotels brand in Thailand with the signing of two new hotel management agreements for ASAI Hat Yai and ASAI Patong Phuket.

The two properties are scheduled to open in 2028 and 2029, supporting the brand’s continued growth in destinations known for their culture, local communities and tourism appeal.

Two New Hotels in Southern Thailand

ASAI Hat Yai will be located on Samchai Road in the centre of Hat Yai, one of Southern Thailand’s key commercial and tourism destinations. The hotel will feature 116 guest rooms, including accommodation designed for solo travellers, couples, families and groups.

Facilities will include an all-day dining restaurant, café, bar, co-working spaces, meeting rooms and a fitness centre.

ASAI Patong Phuket will open in the centre of Patong, approximately five minutes from Patong Beach. The hotel will offer around 85 guest rooms, together with a café, social spaces, rooftop swimming pool and fitness facilities.

Lifestyle Hospitality with Local Connections

ASAI Hotels has been developed for travellers seeking accommodation that reflects the local character of each destination. The brand combines compact guest rooms with communal spaces designed for dining, working and social interaction while collaborating with local businesses and communities.

Since launching with ASAI Bangkok Chinatown in 2020, the brand has expanded to ASAI Bangkok Sathorn and ASAI Kyoto Shijo in Japan.

ASAI Gamuda Cove in Malaysia is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2026, followed by ASAI Oslob Cebu in the Philippines in 2027 and ASAI Camaya Coast in 2028.

Dusit said these projects form part of its strategy to grow its lifestyle hospitality portfolio across Asia while offering guests locally inspired travel experiences.
