IHG Launches Co-Branded Debit Cards with Hotel Rewards
IHG, Revolut and Visa Introduce Debit Cards for Loyalty Members in the UK
IHG Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Revolut and Visa to introduce co-branded debit cards in the UK, giving IHG One Rewards members a new way to earn loyalty points through everyday spending.
Available from 30 June 2026, the cards are designed to help members collect points on hotel stays and daily purchases, while also providing access to selected loyalty benefits and faster progression through the IHG One Rewards programme.
The partnership combines IHG’s hotel portfolio with Revolut’s digital banking platform and Visa’s payment network to offer two debit card options for UK customers.
The IHG x Revolut Essential card has no annual fee and includes automatic Silver Elite status, points on IHG and non-IHG spending, five Elite Night Credits and introductory bonus point offers for eligible new cardholders. Customers who require a physical card will pay a one-time £10 issuance fee.
The IHG x Revolut Elite card is available for a monthly fee of £18 and includes automatic Platinum Elite status, higher earning rates on hotel stays and everyday spending, 15 Elite Night Credits, bonus rewards and the opportunity to achieve Diamond Elite status after meeting the required annual spending threshold.
Customers who apply before 25 August 2026 will be eligible for introductory bonus point offers, subject to each card’s spending requirements.
Cardholders will also benefit from Revolut’s existing features, including fee-free overseas spending, competitive international transfer fees and the ability to make payments in more than 150 currencies.

Paul Proctor, Senior Vice President, Global Loyalty & Partnerships at IHG Hotels & Resorts, said the launch marks IHG’s first co-branded debit card in the UK and gives members additional ways to earn IHG One Rewards points through everyday purchases. He added that the partnership with Revolut and Visa is intended to help members progress through the loyalty programme while making everyday spending more rewarding.

Tara Massoudi, General Manager, Premium at Revolut, said the collaboration is designed to provide IHG One Rewards members with a straightforward way to turn daily spending into hotel rewards, loyalty status and travel benefits through Revolut’s financial platform.

Rob Cameron, Group Country Manager for UK & Ireland at Visa, said consumers increasingly expect everyday payments to provide added value. He noted that the partnership combines digital payments with hotel rewards, giving customers more opportunities to earn travel benefits from their regular spending.
The new debit cards provide IHG One Rewards members with additional opportunities to earn and redeem points on everyday transactions, supporting future hotel stays across IHG’s global portfolio.
