United Adds Cartagena Routes from Houston and Washington, D.C.

Cartagena Flights to Begin in December 2026

United Airlines will launch new year-round nonstop services from Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) to Cartagena, Colombia (CTG) from 17 December 2026. Both routes will initially operate four times a week during the winter season using Boeing 737 aircraft.

The new services expand United’s network in Colombia, where the airline already serves Bogotá and Medellín. The Cartagena flights will also provide connections to more than 70 destinations across the United States through the airline’s hubs in Houston and Washington, D.C.

United Airlines

Passengers travelling on the Boeing 737 will have access to seatback entertainment screens with Bluetooth connectivity, larger overhead storage bins and, in the future, complimentary Starlink Wi-Fi for MileagePlus members.
