Bhavnagar Welcomes IRA by Orchid Hotels

Kamat Hotels India Limited (KHIL) has expanded its presence in Gujarat by opening IRA by Orchid Hotels in Bhavnagar. The new hotel has been developed to serve both business and leisure travellers while supporting the city’s growing hospitality sector.

Located at Himalaya Mall, opposite Victoria Park Road in ISCON Mega City, the hotel offers 50 guest rooms, an all-day dining restaurant and modern banquet facilities. The property has been designed to provide comfortable accommodation and convenient amenities for a wide range of travellers.

The hotel was inaugurated on 19 June 2026 in the presence of Cabinet Minister Jitubhai Vaghani, Dr Vithal Indira Venkatesh Kamat, Executive Director of Kamat Hotels India Limited, Vishal Kamat, and the property owners Rohit Modi and Kamlesh Modi.

Bhavnagar continues to see increased business activity due to infrastructure and industrial developments across Gujarat, including projects in the nearby Dholera region. The city’s strategic location and growing commercial importance are contributing to rising demand for quality hospitality services.

The opening also strengthens KHIL’s presence in Gujarat through its IRA by the Orchid Hotels brand, which focuses on expanding into emerging Tier-II and Tier-III cities across India.
