Six-State Carnival to Inspire Domestic Travel

Held under the theme “Discover, Experience, Explore,” the second edition of Star Karnival Cuti-Cuti Malaysia will travel across Pahang, Johor, Sabah, Penang, Selangor and Sarawak. The roadshow is expected to attract more than 200,000 visitors nationwide.

The Tourism Malaysia carnival provides tourism businesses with a platform to showcase their products while giving travellers direct access to holiday inspiration, destination information and exclusive travel offers.

Exclusive Travel Deals and Tourism Experiences

Visitors can explore destination showcases, accommodation promotions, holiday packages, attraction deals and interactive tourism experiences. The event will feature state tourism organisations, hotels, resorts, airlines, travel agencies, adventure tourism operators, travel gear brands and other tourism businesses under one roof.

Supporting the “Destinasi Indah, Harga Rahmah” initiative, the carnival will also offer value-for-money holiday packages that encourage Malaysians to travel within the country.

Supporting Visit Malaysia 2026

Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Chiew Choon Man said tourism continues to play a vital role in supporting local communities, creating economic opportunities and strengthening businesses across Malaysia. He noted that the carnival contributes to the objectives of Visit Malaysia 2026 by connecting tourism operators with consumers and encouraging greater domestic travel.

Star Media Group CEO Chan Seng Fatt added that the partnership aims to make travel planning easier while promoting Malaysia’s unique tourism experiences through the company’s extensive media platforms.
