Goa and Mundra Connected by New Non-Stop Flights
Star Air Expands Domestic Network with New Service
Goa has gained a new domestic air connection with the launch of Star Air’s non-stop service between Manohar International Airport (GOX) and Mundra (MDA) in Gujarat.
The new route commenced operations on 23 June and will operate five times a week, from Tuesday to Saturday. The service provides travellers with a direct link between Goa and Gujarat, supporting tourism, business travel and regional connectivity.

Welcoming the launch, Goa’s Minister for Tourism, Rohan A. Khaunte, said the new route is another step towards improving domestic air connectivity to the state. He noted that easier access plays an important role in strengthening Goa’s position as a year-round destination and will support travel between Goa and Gujarat.
The introduction of the Goa–Mundra service is part of ongoing efforts to improve connectivity to the state and provide travellers with more travel options.

Director of Tourism, Kedar Naik, said that every new air route helps expand Goa’s tourism reach and improves accessibility for visitors from different parts of the country. He added that the new service will help attract travellers from Gujarat and nearby regions while encouraging them to explore a wider range of experiences across Goa.
The Goa Department of Tourism has welcomed the launch and said it will continue working with airline partners and aviation stakeholders to strengthen connectivity, improve visitor access and support the sustainable growth of tourism in the state.
