Etihad Awards Highlight Cabin Crew and Economy Class Recognition

Etihad Airways has been recognized at the 2026 Business Traveller Middle East Awards, receiving awards for Best Economy Class and Best Cabin Crew. The ceremony took place in Dubai on 18 June 2026, with the cabin crew award marking the airline’s sixth consecutive year of recognition in the category.

The awards are based on votes from Business Traveller Middle East readers, with frequent flyers selecting winners based on their travel experiences throughout the year.

The recognition adds to a series of awards Etihad has received over the past 12 months. The airline has also been acknowledged by organisations including the MENA Stevie Awards, Business Traveller Cellars in the Sky Awards, Aviation Achievement Awards and APEX Best Awards, bringing its total industry recognitions to more than 30 during the period.

Etihad’s onboard dining programme also received attention this year. The airline was named Best Food & Beverage in the Middle East at the APEX Best Awards, while its First Class champagne and red wine offerings received Silver awards at the Business Traveller Cellars in the Sky Awards.

In the cargo sector, Etihad Cargo was named Cargo Airline of the Year and Air Cargo Pharma Service of the Year at the Aviation Achievement Awards. Meanwhile, the MENA Stevie Awards recognised the airline’s contact centre operations, chauffeur service and AI-powered customer service initiatives.
