ICE! Returns to Six Gaylord Resorts Nationwide with New Holiday Experiences for 2025
The Christmas tradition ICE! returns to six destination resorts across the U.S. this holiday season, along with a lineup of seasonal activities including Cirque-style shows, themed dining, and family-friendly experiences. The walk-through attraction features more than 2 million pounds of hand-carved ice sculptures, forming immersive scenes from classic holiday stories.
Beginning this November, ICE! will be hosted at Gaylord Opryland (Nashville, TN), Gaylord Palms (Kissimmee, FL), Gaylord National (National Harbor, MD), Gaylord Rockies (Aurora, CO), Gaylord Texan (Grapevine, TX), and JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa (San Antonio, TX). Tickets are now on sale at ICE.marriott.com, with a limited-time early booking offer.

Launched in 2001, ICE! transforms over 20,000 square feet at each resort into a winter setting using 6,000 ice blocks, sculpted by artisans from Harbin, China—home of the Harbin Ice Festival. Guests walk through themed zones, glide down two-story ice slides, and explore detailed displays in 9-degree temperatures, all while wearing provided parkas.
Each destination will feature a different holiday story, including:
“A Charlie Brown Christmas” at Gaylord Opryland
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer™ at Gaylord Palms
The Polar Express at Gaylord National
How the Grinch Stole Christmas! at Gaylord Rockies
Elf™ at Gaylord Texan
Frosty the Snowman at JW Marriott San Antonio

Each resort will also offer seasonal activities such as:
Cirque-style holiday shows: “POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance” debuts at Gaylord Opryland and Gaylord Palms; “Cirque: Frost” and “Cirque: Spirit of Christmas” appear at other locations.
Snowball Build & Blast and ice tubing return to multiple resorts.
Elf Training Academy, Christmas scavenger hunts, and cookie-sharing with Mrs. Claus add to the family-friendly lineup.
Atrium light shows, ice skating, escape rooms, and carriage rides round out the experiences (activities vary by resort).

Overnight guests can access exclusive perks, including the Chill Pass for front-of-the-line entry. Dates vary by location, running from early November through early January.
