Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels Madhuban Dehradun Appoints Gurudeep Singh as Executive Chef

Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels Madhuban Dehradun has appointed Gurudeep Singh as Executive Chef, strengthening its culinary leadership as the property continues to enhance its dining offerings and overall guest experience.

Gurudeep Singh brings over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, with expertise in kitchen operations, banquet execution, menu planning, and team leadership. In his new role, he will oversee all culinary operations, including restaurants, banquets, and in-room dining. His responsibilities will include menu development, quality control, team management, and ensuring operational efficiency across kitchen functions.

He is currently associated with ITC Hotels Limited and joins the property as part of its pre-opening team. Prior to this, he served as Executive Chef at Fortune Park Hotels Limited in Gurugram, where he managed large-scale culinary operations, including banquets and buffet services.

He also held the role of Executive Chef at Ramada by Wyndham in Bareilly, overseeing food and beverage operations and supporting overall culinary performance.

Gurudeep Singh’s career includes international experience as Executive Sous Chef at Purpleberry in Dubai, where he managed kitchen operations and supported culinary leadership. He has also worked extensively with The Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts, holding roles such as Sous Chef and Junior Sous Chef across Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram.

Earlier in his career, he was associated with Holiday Inn Resort Goa and Shangri La Eros New Delhi, gaining experience across diverse culinary environments including fine dining, banquets, and multi-outlet operations.

His experience includes managing high-volume kitchen operations, menu engineering, cost control, and maintaining food safety standards such as HACCP. At Welcomhotel Madhuban, he will focus on delivering consistent and high-quality dining experiences while introducing menus aligned with guest preferences and market trends.
