Welcomhotel by ITC GST Road Chennai Appoints Sakthi Vel as Head of Sales & Marketing

Welcomhotel by ITC GST Road Chennai has appointed Sakthi Vel as Head of Sales & Marketing.

Sakthi brings over 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with exposure to sales, marketing, revenue management, and business development across the Indian market. In his new role, he will oversee the hotel’s sales and marketing functions, including public relations and revenue strategy.

Prior to joining Welcomhotel by ITC GST Road Chennai, he served as Director of Sales at Radisson Atria Bengaluru. He also spent over a decade with Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited, where he held roles including Territory Manager and Sales Executive, working across sales operations and customer engagement.

In his current role, Sakthi will focus on sales planning, market development, and strengthening the hotel’s positioning within its segment.

The appointment aligns with the hotel’s focus on managing its commercial strategy and supporting business growth.
