Central Vietnam’s golf destination is preparing for the French Riviera. Next month, Ba Na Hills Golf Club will represent Danang and the wider Vietnam Golf Coast at the International Golf Travel Market (IGTM) in Cannes.

Before heading to France, the club will host the IMG Trophy Tournament on Saturday, 13 September 2025, welcoming more than 130 golfers from Vietnam and abroad. The event combines competition with cultural exchange and community engagement, further highlighting the region’s position as a growing hub for golf and tourism.

At IGTM, Ba Na Hills Golf Club will join the IMG stand to present its course to destinations, resorts, clubs, and tour operators worldwide. Designed by Ryder Cup Team Europe captain Luke Donald, the course features creative routing, a mountain setting, and Vietnam’s only fully floodlit fairways.

“Taking Ba Na Hills Golf Club to IGTM is an incredible opportunity to tell our story to a global audience,” said Simon Mees, General Manager at Ba Na Hills Golf Club.

“This is more than just about our course – though having Luke Donald’s only design certainly sets us apart. It’s also about putting Central Vietnam on the map as one of the world’s most compelling golf and travel destinations.”

The three-day IGTM offers structured meetings with over 40 targeted buyers and decision-makers. Ba Na Hills presents an opportunity to develop partnerships, expand distribution, and enhance brand visibility in international markets.

Beyond golf, Danang continues to grow as a tourism destination, recognised for its beaches, cultural heritage, hospitality, and an expanding portfolio of hotels and restaurants, including those highlighted by the Michelin Guide.

“Da Nang is evolving into a destination that can confidently stand alongside the world’s best,” added Mees.

“Golf is a key part of that narrative, but it’s complemented by stunning coastal landscapes, cultural heritage, and hospitality that continues to win global awards. We’re proud to represent both Ba Na Hills and the wider Vietnam Golf Coast in Cannes.”

By joining IGTM Cannes, Ba Na Hills Golf Club seeks to reinforce Central Vietnam’s presence in the international golf travel market and build stronger connections with industry partners.
