APPOINTMENT
Grand Mercure Bengaluru at Gopalan Mall has announced the appointment of Veerababu Kamisetti as the new Director of Finance.
In this role, he will oversee the hotel’s financial operations, budgeting, and strategic planning.
Veerababu brings over a decade of experience in hospitality finance. Most recently, he served as Multi-Property Financial Controller for Sheraton Hyderabad & Fairfield Hyderabad, where he managed the financial performance.
He has also held senior positions at Courtyard & Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Outer Ring Road, Sheraton Hyderabad, Kandima Maldives, Holiday Inn & Suites Bengaluru, Grand Mercure Bangalore, Taj West End, and Taj Krishna Hyderabad.
With an MBA in Finance and Marketing, he is known for his expertise in P&L management, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
Commenting on his appointment, Veerababu said, “In today’s hospitality landscape, financial strategy has to go beyond cost control; it’s about building agile frameworks that balance profitability with long-term investments in service and innovation. My focus will be on strengthening financial governance, driving sharper forecasting models, and aligning our business plans with market realities to deliver sustainable growth for Grand Mercure Bengaluru at Gopalan Mall.”
