V Villas Maldives at Mirihi Opens in South Ari Atoll
MGallery Collection Expands to the Maldives with New Island Retreat
V Villas Maldives at Mirihi – MGallery Collection has officially opened in the South Ari Atoll, marking the debut of the MGallery Collection brand in the Maldives.
Located on the private island of Mirihi, the all-villa resort is accessible via a 30-minute seaplane transfer from Malé and offers accommodation designed to blend with the natural landscape of the Maldives.
The property features 42 villas positioned across the lagoon and beachfront, including overwater villas with private pools and ocean views. Each villa also includes private butler service and interiors inspired by Maldivian materials and coastal design elements.
Designed by Studio Gronda, the resort incorporates locally inspired textures, handcrafted ceramics and natural finishes intended to reflect the surrounding marine environment and island heritage.
Dining experiences at the property include Dhonvelli, the all-day dining restaurant serving locally sourced ingredients, and Muraka, an overwater restaurant focused on seafood and Maldivian flavours. The Akoya Sea Lounge offers cocktails and sunset views overlooking the Indian Ocean.
The wellness offering at Mirihi Spa includes treatments inspired by traditional Maldivian wellness practices, as well as meditation sessions, sound healing, yoga, and body therapies using botanical ingredients and ocean-inspired rituals.
As part of the MGallery Collection experience, the property also introduces an “M Moment” activity aboard the Mirihi Thari yacht, allowing guests to explore the waters of Ari Atoll through snorkelling and marine wildlife experiences.
The resort said it is also working with local organisation Mom’s Aid as part of its community-focused initiatives to support women in the local community.
The opening reflects continued growth in luxury and experiential hospitality offerings across the Maldives, particularly within the wellness and island retreat segment.
