This Indian Airline is Offering Free Wi-Fi on International Flights

Vistara, the Tata-owned airline that will soon be merged with Air India, has announced its plan to provide 20 minutes of free Wi-Fi on international flights.

International flights operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Airbus A321neo aircraft will enjoy this complimentary service, making Vistara the first Indian airline to offer free Wi-Fi to passengers. The free Wi-Fi will be available throughout the aircraft; Panasonic Avionics will supply this internet access on Vistara flights.

In addition, passengers will be able to buy further access to Wi-Fi with credit or debit cards. Club Vistara members will have a free chat facility throughout the flight, whereas non-Club Vistara members can buy the service for ₹372.74 + GST. For internet surfing (audio and video streaming), the charges are ₹1577.54 + GST; for unlimited data, the charges will be ₹2707.04 + GST.
