The Ritz-Carlton has announced a series of SailGP-themed experiences in New York City as part of its partnership with the United States SailGP Team ahead of the New York Sail Grand Prix taking place on 30 and 31 May.

The experiences will be hosted at The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad and The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park, offering guests access to race weekend activities connected to the international sailing championship.

SailGP features 13 national teams competing in identical F50 catamarans powered entirely by wind. The New York event will take place on the Hudson River as part of the global racing calendar.

As part of the partnership, The Ritz-Carlton will host a public activation at Conservatory Water in Central Park on 30 May. The one-day event will include radio-controlled sailboat races, live music, themed food offerings and family activities inspired by sailing. Guests will also be able to watch a live broadcast of the SailGP race during the afternoon.
