Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage appoints Aejaz Shaikh as Hotel Manager

The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the appointment of Aejaz Shaikh as Hotel Manager at Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage, Goa.

Aejaz brings over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on hotel operations, commercial strategy, and brand positioning.

Prior to this role, he served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon and Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage, where he was responsible for overseeing commercial strategy across rooms, food and beverage, events, and other revenue streams. His role included managing sales initiatives across segments such as MICE, weddings, and leisure travel.

Aejaz holds academic qualifications from University of Madras and University of Mumbai, with a focus on business management, marketing, and hospitality.

Commenting on the appointment, Vivek Batra, General Manager, said, “Aejaz’s strong commercial acumen and deep understanding of the Goa market make him well suited to lead the hotel. We are confident that his leadership will further strengthen the hotel’s positioning and drive continued excellence in guest experiences.”
