SpiceJet to Launch Non-Stop Flights Between Ahmedabad and Sharjah
SpiceJet has announced the launch of non-stop flights connecting Ahmedabad with Sharjah, starting February 5, 2026. The new service expands the airline’s international network and strengthens air connectivity between India and the UAE. With this addition, Sharjah becomes SpiceJet’s second destination in the UAE after Dubai.
The Ahmedabad–Sharjah service will operate five days a week, excluding Tuesdays and Wednesdays, offering additional travel options for passengers flying between India and the Middle East. Ahmedabad’s role as an economic and cultural centre, along with strong trade, tourism, and diaspora links with the UAE, supports the introduction of this route.
The new flights are expected to complement SpiceJet’s existing international services and meet demand from business travellers, tourists, and the Indian expatriate community in the region.

Commenting on the launch, Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer, SpiceJet, said Sharjah’s cultural significance and role as a regional hub make it an important addition to the airline’s network, reflecting continued demand for travel between India and the UAE.
Sharjah is the third-largest emirate in the United Arab Emirates and the only one that shares borders with all six others. The destination is known for its heritage sites, museums, mosques, and archaeological locations along its east coast dating back to the second millennium BCE.

Bookings for the Ahmedabad–Sharjah flights are now open through SpiceJet’s website, mobile app, and authorised travel partners.
