Spark by Hilton Debuts in Italy With Milan Airport Hotel
Spark by Hilton Expands Italy Portfolio With Milan Linate Opening
Hilton has announced an agreement with ELE Spa to open Spark by Hilton Milan Linate Airport, marking the first Spark by Hilton property in Italy.
The 118-room hotel is expected to welcome guests later this year and will introduce Hilton’s premium economy brand to the Italian market. The opening will also make Spark by Hilton the 11th Hilton brand operating or in development across Italy.
Located approximately 500 metres from Milan Linate Airport, the hotel is designed to serve both business and leisure travellers seeking practical accommodation with convenient access to transport links and the city centre.
The property will feature 118 guest rooms equipped with streamlined furniture, open wardrobes, flexible workspaces and bathroom amenities designed for convenience and functionality.
Public areas will include a range of seating options, from communal tables to informal lounge spaces, allowing guests to work, relax or socialise throughout their stay.
Guests will also have access to a daily breakfast buffet featuring coffee, juices, and bagels with spreads, along with a Hydration Cart offering complimentary still and sparkling water and fresh fruit.
Additional facilities will include a 24-hour retail market, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and three meeting rooms.
The hotel’s location offers direct access to Milan Linate Airport, with the terminal reachable in around 10 minutes on foot or five minutes by car. Milan city centre can be accessed in approximately 12 minutes via the M4 metro line, while Milano Centrale railway station is around a 15 to 20-minute drive away.
Alan Mantin, Vice President, Development, Southern Europe, Hilton, said the launch represents an important step in Hilton’s growth strategy within Italy.

“We are pleased to introduce Spark by Hilton to Italy. The brand allows us to respond to growing demand for premium economy accommodation while offering travellers practical amenities and the service standards associated with Hilton,” he said.
Fabiano Rebecchini, Chairman of ELE Spa, said the project marks the fifth collaboration between the company and Hilton.
“We are pleased to continue our partnership with Hilton and bring the Spark by Hilton brand to Italy. We look forward to opening the hotel later this year and welcoming guests to Milan,” he said.
Spark by Hilton Milan Linate Airport joins Hilton’s growing Italian portfolio, which currently includes more than 130 hotels operating or in development across the country.
Recent additions include Puccini Hotel Milan, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and Hilton Garden Inn Rome Colosseum. Upcoming projects include Quiete Taormina Naxos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and Canopy by Hilton Milan Duomo.
