Pattaya’s New Poolside Address
At Meliá Pattaya Hotel, the showstopping outdoor pool is framed by private cabanas, striped sunbeds and greenery. The tiling references the nearby shoreline of Pattaya Beach, while soft lighting extends across the pool deck, function lawn and Lula Pool Bar. The hotel opened in February 2025 on Pattaya’s Second Road.
Textile-Inspired Design in Chiang Mai
The swimming pool at Meliá Chiang Mai features tiles inspired by “teen jok” textile patterns associated with northern Thai culture. Adjacent is a children’s splash zone with slides and water features. Tien Pool Bar incorporates red brickwork referencing Tha Phae Gate, a well-known Chiang Mai landmark.

On the 34th floor of INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit, a transparent infinity pool anchors The Giant Swing Pool Bar and rooftop terrace. The design includes a contemporary interpretation of Bangkok’s Giant Swing structure, while views extend across the city skyline.

The showstopping courtyard pool at Raffles Hotel Le Royal is set amid tropical gardens within the historic property. Its sister hotel, Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor, features a 35-metre pool inspired by the Royal Baths of Angkor.
