APPOINTMENT
Shangri-La Bengaluru hotel has announced the appointment of Rakesh Ramachandran as its new Director of Events.
Rakesh rejoins the Shangri-La brand, bringing with him over two decades of experience across hospitality operations, events, catering, group business, and food and beverage sectors.
Rakesh began his professional journey in Food & Beverage Service, where he developed his expertise in in large-scale event execution and guest experience delivery. He has held senior leadership roles with renowned brands, including The Leela Palace Bengaluru, Sheraton Bangalore, Conrad Pune, and Shangri-La Colombo.
Most recently, Rakesh was associated with Foodlink F&B Holdings as Director of Sales.
In his role as Director of Events, Rakesh will focus on enhancing the hotel’s events and conventions portfolio, with an emphasis on innovation, service excellence, and bespoke experiences.
