Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd. Signs Regenta Hotel in Gwalior

Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd. (ROHL) has announced the signing of a new upscale hotel in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, as part of its expansion in Central India. The property, to be branded as Regenta Gwalior, will be located near Gwalior Airport and will operate under a management agreement, aligning with the company’s asset-light growth strategy.

This development will be Royal Orchid & Regenta Hotels’ second hotel in Gwalior and its fourth property in Madhya Pradesh. The group currently operates hotels in Bhopal, Indore, and Gwalior. The new signing is aimed at addressing demand across business, leisure, and transit travel segments in the region.

Regenta Gwalior will be developed in two phases. Phase I will include 71 rooms and banquet facilities for meetings, weddings, and social events. Phase II will add 30 additional rooms, expanding the hotel’s total inventory and supporting anticipated growth in demand.

The hotel is owned by Hoshiyar Singh Tomar, Owner of Oakwood Hotel Pvt. Ltd. Its location near the airport, industrial zones, and key tourist attractions such as Gwalior Fort positions the property to cater to a diverse mix of travellers.
