Royal Orchid Hotels Expands Presence with New Khatu Shyam Ji Resort
Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd has expanded its footprint in Rajasthan’s spiritual tourism circuit with the opening of a new resort in Khatu Shyam Ji, located in the Sikar district. The 120-room property marks the group’s entry into one of northern India’s well-visited pilgrimage destinations.
The resort operates under a partnership with Rajender Kumar Agarwal and Dinesh Kumar Agarwal, aligning with Royal Orchid’s asset-light business approach. The management agreement structure supports portfolio growth while incorporating local market understanding.
Situated approximately 2 kilometres from the Khatu Shyam Ji Temple, the property is well positioned to serve the steady flow of visitors throughout the year.
Arjun Baljee, President of Royal Orchid Hotels, noted that spiritual destinations continue to attract consistent demand. He highlighted that expanding into such markets aligns with the company’s focus on strengthening its presence in high-traffic religious centres. The Regenta brand aims to offer comfort and dependable hospitality for both pilgrims and leisure travellers.
The resort features five accommodation categories, ranging from 205-square-foot deluxe rooms to 421-square-foot presidential-category rooms. Each category is designed to offer practical layouts and amenities suitable for families and groups visiting the area.
Dining options include Amritam, a vegetarian restaurant serving meals throughout the day, and Prasadam Café for quick refreshments. The property also houses a swimming pool, Arogya Spa, and fitness facilities for guests.
For events, the resort offers the Aanandam indoor venue and the Baagh Lawn for outdoor functions. These spaces support weddings, family events, and corporate gatherings, allowing the property to cater to a range of visitor needs beyond religious travel.
The property owners expressed interest in contributing to organised hospitality development in the region, aiming to provide stays that combine comfort with the destination’s cultural character.
Khatu Shyam Ji’s location provides access to nearby attractions, including Golden Water Park, Mahalaxmi Temple, Jeen Mata Temple, and Shakambhari Devi Temple. This enables the resort to serve both pilgrimage-focused travellers and those exploring Rajasthan’s cultural offerings.
The launch aligns with a broader trend of hospitality brands expanding into tier-two and tier-three destinations where religious tourism contributes to consistent occupancy. Improved transport connectivity and rising domestic travel continue to support growth in these markets.
