Renata Portes Appointed as New General Manager at Maroma

APPOINTMENT

Maroma, a Belmond Hotel has announced the appointment of Renata Portes as its new General Manager.

In her new role, Renata is responsible for the strategic management and operations of Maroma, further enhancing the guest experiences.

She brings two decades of experience within the luxury hospitality sector, having started her career with Belmond twenty years ago at Copacabana Palace, Rio De Janeiro, as a trainee.

She progressed through various roles and built extensive expertise in Spa, Guest Relations, and Events, bespoke guest experiences and operational excellence, gradually returning to Copacabana Palace, to serve as Rooms Division Manager and later as Assistant Manager, Rooms.
