APPOINTMENT
The Orchid Hotel Mumbai has announced the appointment of Ravi Rai as the new General Manager.

Ravi Rai holds over two and a half decades of experience in the hospitality sector. His appointment marks a strategic direction for the Mumbai property as it plans to expand its presence by blending ecological consciousness with luxury hospitality.
In his new role, Ravi will spearhead all sectors of the hotel’s operations, including strategic planning, guest satisfaction, team development, and brand positioning.
Ravi started his hospitality career by working as a Restaurant Cashier with Taj Hotels. He progressed through the ranks by working across many roles and build his reputation of mentoring the right talent and driving strategic acumen.
Most recently, Rai served as Cluster General Manager for the Avadh Utopia Group, where he was responsible for overseeing flagship hotels across Surat and Vapi.
Prior to that, he held multiple leadership roles within the Accor Group, managing properties like Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach, Novotel Vijayawada, and The Bheemili Resort. His journey has also included key assignments with global brands like Hilton, Taj Hotels (IHCL), and Carlson Rezidor.
