Grand Mercure Bengaluru has appointed Zenith U as its new Rooms Division Manager. Zenith began his illustrious career spanning 10 years at Courtyard by Marriott Pune Chakan and has since held significant roles across leading hospitality brands, including Novotel Pune, Novotel & ibis Chennai OMR, and ibis Chennai City Centre. Before joining Grand Mercure Bangalore, he served as the Director of Guest Services at ibis Chennai City Centre, where he managed Rooms and Food & Beverage operations. His tenure also included heading operations, demonstrating his exceptional leadership capabilities.
Zenith has been recognized with accolades such as Manager of the Year 2022 and the Best Personality Award (Rooms) on International Hospitality Day 2023, underscoring his commitment to guest satisfaction and service innovation.
Zenith’s academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in maritime hospitality studies from RL Institutes, Madurai, complemented by bartending and maritime safety certifications. His comprehensive understanding of hospitality operations and passion for creating memorable guest journeys align perfectly with Grand Mercure Bengaluru’s commitment to delivering unique, vibrant, and personalized experiences.
